I’m always impressed by the people who create temporary art,
like stones piled high on the beach only for the waves to crash them down, or
building furniture in the forest out of twigs, drawings on the street. Here in Umbria we have the flower
festival in Spello after the designs are complete there is a religious
procession that literally walks over them (Here is the link to the Flower Festival, it's amazing). At the Flower Festival I always leave before the procession,
so maybe I’m still learning to love and understand the concept temporary art,
maybe I romanticize it.
This maybe isn’t really art it is just a little design I
did and then attached flowers on to the wooden board. I liked the idea of creating something temporary as a focal
point to have at a party. Now that
it is spring we must start having parties...right?

It would be easy to do without the drawing and just maybe
some smudges of color and then attached the flowers to that, more modern, then
we could put the punch or cocktails, or food around this focal point. How about an old door or cabinet door,
empty frame, painted and flowers taped inside or on top, just gorgeous!
Simple as that.

Cheers, get the
party going!
